I am Lupe Belmonte, director and cinematographer
focused on character-driven stories.
My work combines a strong visual approach with a
humanistic perspective rooted in my background in
the humanities.
I have worked with platforms such as HBO and
Movistar+, and my films have been recognized at
international festivals including the OXIFF (Oxford
International Film Festival).
I have also had the privilege of developing projects
with of Paolo Sorrentino and learning from
filmmakers such as Krzysztof Zanussi
