Born in Havana, has a degree in Audiovisual Communication with a major in Directing in the Universidad de las Artes de Cuba. Since 2015, she has worked in the audiovisual and filmmaking production, working in several short films as director, producer, photographer, editor, and sound designer. She has also held positions as photographer and coordinator in the audiovisual festivals Muestra Joven (2017) and IMAGO (2018) respectively. In 2016, she was part of the Observational Film workshop taught in Havana by professors from the National School of Film, Television, and Theater in Lodz, Poland, which resulted in her participation in the documentary feature film La Habana del amanecer al anochecer. In 2018 her documentary Simulacro received the Martin Luther King Foundation Special Award during the IMAGO Festival and mention for Best Documentary in the Almacén de la Imagen Festival. Since 2021, she has been pursuing a master’s degree in documentary filmmaking at the National College of Cinematographic Arts (Escuela Nacional de Artes Cinematográficas) in the National Autonomous University of Mexico (Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, UNAM)
